Answer :

put the in simplest form and it is 1/3 and 2/3 so 4/12 is less than 4/6
I would say, That 4/12 is less! And 4/6 is GREATER! :) 
 
If you want to examine these, find a like denominator: Which is 12

4/12 =  So, 4/12 stays the same

4/6 = (*2 on top & bottom) 8/12

And, you find that because 6 times what would give you 12 (2) So you do it on top & bottom... 6*2=12 and 4*2= 8... SO... 

We find that 4/12 is actually less by 4/12!!! :)
